Our school provides opportunities for students, staff and parents to know and celebrate their Catholic faith. This is done through the religious life of our school. Members of our community experience a rich liturgical and prayer life, celebration of the Sacraments, faith formation, social outreach activities, and opportunities to share faith with each other and with youth from other schools in the Archdiocese.

Nurturing the faith of our children is at the core of who we are at St Therese Catholic Primary School Padstow. Alongside the curriculum, we help nurture the faith of our children by celebrating the faith traditions of the church.

Throughout the year, our children are called to participate in many Eucharistic and Liturgical celebrations. These occur in formal settings like in our church and other places such as our classrooms and playground.

We have a prayer assembly every morning. Here we all gather as a community to invite God into our day. We also pray for special intentions during this time.

Each term, every grade has a Mass, and Reconciliation takes place once a term for Years 3–6 on a Wednesday. We celebrate special whole school Masses during the year to recognise important feast days in the Church’s calendar.
